SAIF: Work plan and current work
SAIF's work for 2011 includes:
- Promoting and delivering our range of in-house training. See our training page for more information about the courses.
- Promoting our new Making Services Accessible publication - a signifcant rewrite of the SAIF Standards for Disability Information and Advice Provision in Scotland- available from March 2011
- Promoting our new Making Websites Accessible publication - available from March 2011
- Producing a guide on toolbars for checking accessibility
- Ongoing work on the Principles of Inclusive Communication working group for the Scottish Government
- Ongoing consultation work with individual organisations on request
- Impact assessment with NHS QIS - ongoing
- Ongoing work with HM Revenue and Customs
- Developing an elearning module on accessible information awareness.
Detailed work plans and targets for the year are agreed at the Annual Review in February.
