SAIF: Consultations

SAIF responds to consultations from the Scottish Government, public sector organisations and others. The response can be either in our own name or through input to a response from Consumer Focus Scotland where we are based.  We are always happy to help and will get back to you as soon as we can.

2010 consultations

During this year we have responded to consultations and/or information sent to us from the Scottish Government, British Standards Institute Standard on Inclusive Services, NHS QIS Single Equality Scheme, Healthcare Environment Inspectorate, Quality Scotland, Scottish Information Commissioner, NHS Education for Scotland and the Scottish Health Council.

2009 consultations

In 2009 some of the documents we have consulted on include the Scottish Government's Guide to the Scottish Planning System, NHS Quality Improvement Scotland's review of its Disability Equality Scheme, NHS Education for Scotland's Disability Equality Scheme and HM Revenue and Customs Website Accessibilty Policy.

2008 consultations

Some of the consultations we responded to in 2008 included: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (Language and Communication Support Plan), the Department of Transport (Disabled Persons' Protection Policy), ODS Consulting on behalf of Communities Scotland (Tenant Purchaser Information Packs), Shetland NHS Board (Accessible information strategy and policy), and Strathclyde Fire and Rescue (Single Equalities Scheme).

We have also worked with a range of organisations providing them with information and advice.
